Calhoun County Independent School District

We are looking forward to hosting another great  season of Calhoun football! We are looking forward to our safe, respectful, and fun home games. Here are some reminders and protocols for Sandcrab Stadium.

Before the game:

• Presale tickets are available online the week of the game at Sandcrabnation.org. Tickets can also be purchased from the ticket counter at CHS the week of the game on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays until noon. Presale tickets are $5 (adults) and $3 (students).
• After noon on game day, the ticket price will move to $7 (everyone).
• Tickets are available at the game for $7 (everyone).
• A shuttle bus will run between the Calhoun High School parking lot and Sandcrab Stadium (during home games) for guests who prefer to park at the high school and shuttle over. The shuttle is a free service provided by the district. The bus begins running at 6 p.m. on home game nights.

 At the game:

• The gate opens at 6 p.m. Home games are scheduled to kick-off at 7 p.m. unless otherwise announced.
• Game disruptions such as airhorns, bullhorns, artifical noise makers of any kind, confetti, and/or streamers are not permitted into the stadium.
• Outside food and drinks are not permitted into the stadium
• Concessions sales will be available for purchase inside the stadium
• Sandcrab Stadium follows a clear bags policy – see requirements and exceptions here
• Elementary-aged children should sit with their adult guardians in the general fan seating area and be accompanied at all times.
• A section designated for “student seating” will be available for high school and middle school students.
• Students of all ages are expected to be in the stands at all times, unless they are in line for concessions or the bathroom. The concession area is monitored and students will be redirected to their seats. 
• General admin seating is in sections A, F, & G. 

After the game:

• Athletes, participants, and fans will exit after the game and school song/alma mater.
• Guests are not permitted on the track/field.
• The band participants will exit from the track towards Hwy. 35.
•  Athletes will exit towards the field house, and can be received by parents there.

Livestream information:

• Home, varsity football games will be livestreamed on the Calhoun High School YouTube page.
• Calhoun High School Official YouTube Channel
• Folks with YouTube accounts can subscribe to the channel for notifications of upcoming live streams.
