The UIL Academics team annihilated the district 30 4A competition at A.C. Jones high school in Beeville, Texas this weekend. They won as DISTRICT SWEEPSTAKES CHAMPIONS with 699 points. That’s 409 points higher than the second place winner, Sinton, who had a score of 290.
In Accounting, Jonathan Nguyen placed 1st, Bryan Diggs placed 2nd, Kayla Hall placed 4th, Natalia Zarate placed 5th, and Jack Graham placed 6th. Their team placed 1st overall. In Computer Apps, Eryka Menchaca placed 2nd, Jonathan Nguyen placed 3rd, and Christian Graham placed 4th.
In Computer Science, Stacy Zhang placed 1st, Seth Sandberg placed 2nd, Leo Liang placed 4th, and Christian Graham placed 6th. Their team placed 1st overall.
