Reminder that all reported threats are investigated and addressed

Today, Calhoun County ISD assisted local law enforcement to investigate and address an inappropriate message that was sent by one student to another student over social media outside of school. The investigation found no credible threat or concern for any campus or student at this time.

It is important for students and families to understand that our district takes all reported concerns seriously. Any report of a potential threat will be evaluated and addressed. Threatening language or imagery can have serious consequences, regardless of the intent behind it. Inappropriate content that a student creates, shares, reposts, or comments on online could result in a school or law enforcement response.
