Lunch Program
We have some exciting news to share! Calhoun County ISD has been approved to provide free school lunch to all students though the Community Eligibility Program (CEP).
Breakfast will also be served to students at no charge, as in past years.
It is important for families to understand that although we won’t need to collect free and reduced meal applications this year. Due to CEP, we will still need to collect and report accurate socio-economic data to determine eligibility for future years of the free lunch program, and also be funded and accessed by the state appropriately.
A form requesting socio-economic information will be sent out at the start of school.
Breakfast:
Students – no charge; $3.50 for additional breakfast entree
Adults/guests - $3.50
Lunch:
Students – no charge for first meal served; $5.25 for additional meals or “second helpings”
Adults/guests - $5.25 per meal
As a reminder, Calhoun County ISD Child Nutrition uses a purchasing system called LINQ Connect (formerly Titan), and parents may continue to add funds to their child’s account for a la carte items.
