Good afternoon and Happy Friday, TMS Families!

Thank you for a great week at Travis Middle School. We are proud to celebrate the strong attendance and hard work of our students—especially our 7th and 8th graders!

On 4/9/2026, our campus attendance was nearly 98%. Only 1 student in 7th grade and 2 students in 8th grade were absent. Way to show up and put in the work!

Great job, TMS! Let’s continue to come prepared each day and show our growth.

STAAR Testing

Our next round of STAAR testing begins next week:

• April 14 – 6th Grade RLA

• April 15 – 8th Grade Science

Students have been working hard all year, and we are excited to see them continue to push forward and show what they know.

End of the Year Awards Update

We will be hosting the 6th and 7th Grade Awards Ceremony after school on May 19 at 5:00 PM. More information will be shared soon.

Reminders

• Ensure students get a good night’s sleep and arrive on time during testing days

• Students should bring their Chromebook daily, fully charged

• Attendance remains a priority—our goal is 95% or higher
