1) Please be reminded that Friday, October 10 is an early release. Normal early release time at CCISD is after lunch, around 12:30 p.m., but the campuses will confirm  their campus specific schedule with families directly, so keep an eye out.

2) We are are hosting home football and volleyball games on Friday, October 10, and our wonderful community has come together to host a "community tailgate" Friday afternoon from 4 to 6 p.m. at Sandcrab Stadium. Join us to celebrate of our Sandcrabs and Sandies! There will be food, games, freebies, and lots of Calhoun spirit. 

3) Students have the full week off next week, October 13 - 17. This break falls just at the right time, after the first grading period has concluded and during our county fair. We hope everyone enjoys this little break! School will resume on Monday, October 20.

4) On Monday afternoon, October 13, there will be an opportunity for parents to pick up their child's report card and connect with teachers as needed. Again, please keep an eye out for communications from your child's school about their specific plans for this.
