Welcome To Seadrift Schools! Home of the Pirates!
Seadrift, School, home of the fighting Pirates, is a community school located in Seadrift, Texas. The town of Seadrift is 18 miles from Port Lavaca and 30 miles from Victoria. The school is home for students in Pre-Kindergarten to the eighth grade. There are approximately 300 students in the school with a faculty of 22 teachers.
Our goal is to help all children learn and play in a safe environment so that they may grow into adults that are productive and give back to the community. All staff members guide the students to strive for knowledge, goals, truths, and outstanding character. We know we plan an important part inspiring them to take learning to the heart.
Seadrift School is proud to offer athletics (cross country, volleyball, football, basketball, and track), Student Council, high school credit classes, enrichment classes, club day opportunities, and cheerleading. All students have an opportunity to participate and be a part of a group. We offer ESL classes, Response to Intervention help, gifted and talented classes as well as regular classes. The school has two complete computer labs and a parent center. We work closely with outside resources (Mid-Coast Counseling, The Harbor, Partners in Education tutor and mentor program, DOW fitness program) to enhance the knowledge of the students.
Please visit our school and see for yourself our kid-friendly hallways, classrooms, and total environment. We love sharing our Pirate “treasures.” Come visit the best kept secret in Calhoun County!
“At Seadrift School, everyday in everyway we get a little better.”
