Calhoun County ISD has again been approved to provide free school lunch to all students during the 2024-2025 school year, though the Community Eligibility Program (CEP). Breakfast will also be served to students at no charge, as in past years.
It is important for families to understand that although we won’t need to collect free and reduced meal applications this year, due to CEP, we will still need to collect and report accurate socio-economic data to determine eligibility for future years of the free lunch program, and also be funded and accessed by the state appropriately. A local income survey will be sent out at the start of school. Please keep an eye out for it and submit it back to school promptly.
