Calhoun County ISD's Child Nutrition team will provide healthy meals to children at no cost, as part of the Seamless Summer Option food program (SSO), a U.S. Department of Agriculture nutrition program administered by the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA).
The meals are available to children 18 years and younger, as well as enrolled students with disabilities who are 21 years and younger.
The meals will be served at the following locations on the following dates. Meals will be served Monday - Thursday.
Calhoun High School:
June 5th - 29, July 10th – 27, 2023
Breakfast 7:30 - 8:15 a.m.
Lunch 10:45 a.m. - 12 noon
Enter at the Y Hall entrance, which is the double doors left (south) of the front office.
HJM Elementary:
June 5 - June 22, 2023
Breakfast 7:30 - 8:15 a.m.
Lunch 11 a.m. - 12 noon
Enter through main entrance.
Travis Middle School:
June 5 - June 22, 2023
Breakfast 7:30 - 8:15 a.m.
Lunch 11:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
Enter through the external doors between the cafeteria and auditorium.
JR Elementary:
June 5 - June 29, 2023
Breakfast 7:30 - 8:15 a.m.
Lunch 11 a.m. - 12 noon
Enter through main entrance.
POC Elementary:
June 5 - June 22, 2023
Breakfast 7:30 - 8:15 a.m.
Lunch 11 a.m. - 12 noon
Enter through the gate by the cafeteria.
Seadrift Elementary:
June 5 - June 22, 2023
Breakfast 7:30 - 8:15 a.m.
Lunch 11 a.m.- 12 noon
Enter through external cafeteria door.
The public is welcome to eat, as well. The Adult meal cost is $3.50 - cash only.
Signage will posted at each campus for entrance into the schools.
