Calhoun County ISD schools remain closed on Wednesday, Jan. 22
Calhoun County ISD is communicating closely with the National Weather Service and local officials about the winter weather advisory for our area. As freezing temperatures are expected in our area through much of Wednesday morning, the district has determined it is in the best interest for our families and staff to remain closed another full day. There will be no school on Wednesday, January 22. Please stay home, keep warm, and be safe.
At this time, the district plans for school to resume on Thursday, January 23 at the normal start time. If there is a change to that plan, then parents will be notified and the information will be posted.
We appreciate our families for their understanding and support.
The district would like to recognize its maintenance, custodial, and transportation teams for all they do to support safe and comfortable school facilities and operations.
