CCISD releases two hours early on Thursday, Nov. 17
The Calhoun Sandcrabs have advanced to the area round of the playoffs. Their next game is against Canyon Lake and is scheduled for Thursday, November 17 at 7 p.m. at Floresville.
As such, Calhoun County ISD schools will release two hours earlier than normal on Thursday, November 17, to allow students, fans, and staff enough time to safely travel to Floresville.
So for example, if your child’s school normally releases at 3:35 p.m., on Thursday, November 17, they will release at 1:35 p.m. (two hours earlier than normal) In alignment with that schedule, the afternoon bus route will run two hours earlier than their normal times.
School will resume on Friday, November 18, where there is an early release scheduled for 12:30 p.m. for all campuses. All Calhoun County ISD schools will be closed November 21 – 25 for Thanksgiving break.
