Notification of confirmed COVID-19 cases at CHS

In keeping with district practices to respond to COVID-19, we are notifying all students, staff and guests that two Calhoun High School students have tested positive for COVID-19 and were last on-campus 03/02/2021 and 03/03/2021. All students and staff have access to free testing by appointment. For more information, please see the district website at www.calcoisd.org.


Feeling feverish or a measured temperature greater than or equal to 100.0 degrees Fahrenheit

Fatigue

Cough, or Difficulty breathing or, Shortness of breath

Headache

Chills or shaking or exaggerated shivering

Diarrhea, or Vomiting, or Abdominal pain

Loss of taste or smell

Significant muscle pain or ache

Congestion or runny nose, or sore throat

This list does not represent every possible symptom. Some individuals have experienced allergy-like symptoms and others experienced no symptoms at all prior to a positive test. 


Please carefully monitor for COVID symptoms and stay at home when symptoms emerge. A number of students and staff have tested positive or are at home in quarantine as a precaution. 


The safety of our students and staff continues to be our primary goal. We will take steps to slow the spread of COVID-19.
