Mrs. Bland, alias Madam Atom, from Dow Checmical Seadrift Operations came to visit the 6th Grade Science classes on Friday, December 16. Mrs. Bland performed 6 different experiements in front of the kids showing all kinds of chemical reactions. The kids were very impressed with her knowledge and enthusiasm for science. She encouraged each of the kids to pursue Science and Math in their academic careers. Mrs. Bland was a wrap up for the 6th graders unit on Chemical Reactions.
