
Travis Middle School Bands
“You can’t play in Texas if you haven’t got Fiddlers in the band”

Members of the Travis Middle School bands competed in the Mid-Coast All-Region Band tryouts on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Howell M.S. in Victoria. Of the 53 TMS students competing, 39 earned seats in the All-Region Band.

Mr. Hamelwright is glad for all of the students who took the opportunity to experience the tryout process. “It is good character building development, and I am very proud of all who took part.”
All the above students will perform a Concert along with students from 5 other schools who earned seats in the Mid-Coast All-Region Band next Saturday, November 12th at Victoria West H.S. Auditorium. Concert is at 5:00pm and the public is invited to come support and celebrate these students hard work.
