The 7th grade B Lady Fiddlers traveled to Howell on Monday Night to face them for the second time in district. With mental errors and a lack of energy the Lady Fiddlers fell in three games; 25-13, 23-25, 15-25. This puts the Lady Fiddlers at a 5-2 district record and 7-2 for the season. Sarah Tomlinson had 1 spike and 1 dig. Bayley Neuman had 1 ace and 11 points; Ali Kalisek led the team in passing, 2 aces, 11 serves, and 13 points; Jocelyne Solis had 3 serves, 1 spike, and 1 set; Kara Dierschke had 1 save; Meghan Wehmeyer had 2 spikes, 1 tip and passed for 67%; Alexis Ybarra led the team in serves and points, 14 serves, 1 ace and 14 points; and Arriana Cruz had 11 serves, 4 spikes, 2 tips, 4 sets, 2 saves and 1 block. The Lady FIddlers will be in the Seadrift Tournament Thursday and Saturday; playing Seadrift Thursday at 5:00. Good Luck Lady Fiddlers! Bring home the gold!
The 7th Grade A team traveled to Victoria to play the Wildcats of Howell. They lost in 3 games 14-25, 25-11, 17-25. Results of the Match are: Martina Stavinoha 9 pts, Abby Hroch 7 pts, Alex Iglesias and Kaysen Vickery 4 pts each, Ashlyn Beard 3 pts, Savannah Woodward and Dee Dee Evans 1 pt each. Abby was top spiker with 5 and Ashlyn was top setter with 15.
The 8th grade B Lady Fiddlers defeated Howell, Monday night in two games 25-14 and 25-11. Making 100% of her serves and high scorer was Leena Morales. Also serving well was Gabby Bonuz with 10 good serves, 8 points. Most sets was Miranda Moya. Brandy Escobar and Jessamy Tomlinson both had 4 hits. Brandy also had 2 saves and Jessamy had one block. WAY TO GO LADY FIDDLERS. They will face Stroman at home next Thursday
The 8th A team hosted the Lady Wildcats. They won in 2 games 25-13, 25-20. Results of the match are: Lexi Kurtz, Kara Pfeir and Alexis Cruz 7 pts each, Leanna Gottschalt 4 pts, Janiah Orta 2 pts, Jackie Brumfield, Robyn Stringo, Alejandra Billalon 1 pt each. Kara Led in Spikes with 5, Lexi had 2 blocks, Elaina led in passing and sets. Congratulations on a good job. They will play next Thursday with the 8th grade at home and the 7th grade at Stroman.
