The 7th grade A team hosted the Bulldogs of Cade. They played hard and won in 3 games: 22-25, 25-13,25-16. It was great revenge since Cade won in the first round. Results of the match were: Alex Iglesias and Martina Stavinoha 10 pts each, Abby Hroch 6 pts, Ashlyn Beard and Kaysed Vickery 4 pts each, Dee Dee Evans and Savannah Woodward 2 pts each and McKayla Cortez 1 pt. Martina led in Spikes with 7 followed by Abby with 6. Kaysey was top setter with 20 and Alex led in tips with 3. Congratulations on a Superb Job!
The 7th grade B team beat Cade in 2 games: 25-16 and 25-14.
The 8th grade A team traveled to Cade and played hard but fell short 14-25, 24-26. Results of the match were: Jackie Brumfield and Alexis Cruz 5 pts each, Janiah Orta and Robyn Stringo 4 pts each, Elaina Cuellar and lexi Kurtz 1 pt each. Kara Pfeil led in spikes followed by Alejandra Villalon and Bailee Dorsey. Leanna Gottschalt was top passer and Elaina was top setter. Kara also led in tips with 3. Lexi Kurtz and Alexis Cruz had a double block in the match.
The 8th grade B team lost their first match, dropping to Cade 18-25 and 27-29. Highlights fo the night were: Orianna Cantu - 2 aces, Abby McFall 5 spikes, Brandy Escobar- 5 tips, Peyton Rudellat - 19 sets, Leena Morales - 2 digs. The Lady Fiddlers put up a good fight and will play Howell on October 17.
The Travis Tournament is this week. The 7th grade play at 6:00 and the 8th grade play at 5:00 on Thursday.
