Last Thursday, the 8th grade A team hosted the Panthers of Patti Welder. They won in 2 tight games 25-21, 25-20. Results of the match were: Alexis Cruz 10 pts, Elaina Cuellar, Robyn Stringo, and Lexi Kurtz 4 pts each, Orianna Cantu 3 pts, Kara Pfeil 2 pts, Janiah Orta, Bailee Dorsey and Alejandra Villalon 1 pt each. Lexi and Kara brought down 4 spikes each, Kara was top passer with 85% and Elaina was top setter with 23. Congratulations on a Great Job!
The 8th Grade B Volleyball team is now 9-0 after winning against Patti Welder last Thursday night. They defeated Patti Welder in two games: 25-17, & 25-17. Highlights for the match were: Peyton Ruddellat 12 pts, 6 aces, 14 sets; Haley Herrera 90% passing, 3 aces; Brandy Escobar, Jessamy Tomlinson and Faith Fojt 3 hits each. 7th grade A team traveled to Patti welder last Thursday and won in 2 games 25-12, 25-9. Results of the match were: Martina Stavinoha 14 pts, Genesis Villarreal 12 pts, Ashlyn Beard 5 pts, Savannah Woodward and Kaysey Vickery 4 pts each, and Alex Iglesias 1 pt. Abby Hroch had the most spikes with 2 and Ashlyn was top setter for the night. Congratulations on a Great Job!
The 7th grade B team played Patti Welder on Thursday and won in two games 25-13 & 25-15. The girls are adapting will to the new offense and defense and showing tremendous improvement in all areas of the game. Sara Tomlinsn: 10 pts, 2 aceses, Savannah Trevino: 7 pts. Faith Tompkins, 66% passing, Jocelyn Solis 40% passing, Kara Dierschke 7 pts and 1 ace, Arrians Cruz 8 pts, 2 sets and 1 save.
