Carr set up Travis with great field position late in the second quarter. J.C. Garcia had a 15 yard run that set up the Fiddlers on the opponent’s 25 yardline but the drive was ended with a few miscues by the offense. The half ended with a score of 0-0. Opening up the second half was a 30 yard kick return by Raheem Jones. There continued to be no scoring until late in the 4th quarter when K.C. Carr and Preston Salinas came up with 2 big sacks on the quarterback to force a turnover on downs. This set up Travis on the opponents 30 yardline.   With 9 seconds remaining in the game, the Fiddler offense was able to capitalize when Matthew Lerma ran for a 4 yard touchdown.

Travis 7th GOLD 0, vs. Howell 22

The Travis gold team got off to a rocky start after dropping the opener 22-0 to Howell. Travis and Howell traded turnovers twice in the first quarter.
