$1,000 stipends are given to Certified Special Education teachers.
$2,000 stipends are given to Certified Secondary Math, Science and Spanish teachers.
$3,000 stipends are given to Certified Elementary Bilingual teachers.
Advance of Pay Option for New Teachers
CCISD will offer a paycheck option for anyone teaching for the first time in Calhoun County Independent School District. Because of the length of time involved when a teacher begins to teach and the arrival of their first paycheck, CCISD will offer the option of receiving an advance of pay the first year. Teachers utilizing this option will receive $1,000 in August of the new school year and that amount will be deducted from their paychecks in twelve equal installments.
