Michael Greenly, the manager of our local HEB, came to HJM Elementary to present a donation to Micro Community. The check was presented to the Assistant Principal Tiffany O'Donnell. The Micro Community is back in full swing at HJM. Every six weeks students with perfect attendance get to go shopping. The popular saying "I could have had a Falcon" came true for HJM on Friday. Sky Kings Falconry Service came to give a demonstration to the students of HJM. They brought falcons, owls, hawks and a vulture. All of these birds are trained for bird abatement. For example--If you had unwanted pigeons in your barn, the Sky Kings would bring an owl and lock it up in the barn for a couple of days.
