CalhounCounty Independent School Districtis committed to assuring compliance with the provisions of the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) of 2001. A strong emphasis is placed on the levels of academic proficiency that all students will meet, on the special needs of certain populations of students, and on factors that are critical to instruction and learning.
CCISD Planning Federal Programs.
CCISD is in the process of planning for the use of all federally funded programs for the 2011-2012 school year. This includes, but not limited to, federal funding for Schoolwide Title I, teacher and principal training/recruiting, English language acquisition, language enhancement, and academic achievement, McKinney Vento Act, and Career and Technology Education.
