Special recognition for CCISD first responders

.On behalf of Calhoun County ISD, we would like to extend a special recognition to our First Responders, representing our Maintenance, Custodial, Transportation, Technology and Child Nutrition organizations. 

In late August, while a Category 4 hurricane was barreling our way,
our First Responders were taking care of lots of details including securing facilities and assets in preparation of impact. Bus drivers lined up to help evacuate community members and stayed with them at their evacuation points until they could safely return. 

After the storm, our First Responders ensured that our campus staff and students would be able to return to school safely and comfortably. Child Nutrition workers prepared and served meals.

And for all of that, and much more, we say THANK YOU! Thank you for taking care of us. Thank you for being the last to leave (or staying) and first to respond.
