Child Nutrition COVID-19 Action Plan

Now that most students are back at school for Face-to-Face Learning, the Calhoun County ISD Child Nutrition team is modifying their curbside meal service plan to better accommodate the lower participation numbers. The plan will also help families reduce their trips outside the home for school meals.

Starting Monday, September 14:

Meals will be served curbside for E-Learners on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 to 11 a.m. The same number of total meals will be provided. On Monday, you pick up enough meals for Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday’s pick up will include meals for the rest of the week. Meals will be served curbside at the following locations: Calhoun High School, JR Elementary, Seadrift School, and Port O’Connor Elementary. HJM Elementary and Travis Middle School will no longer be sites for pick up. Meals will still be served at no cost to all Calhoun County ISD students. Students will need to be verified at pick up.

Students attending school Face-to-Face will be served their meals at school, according to their school’s schedule.
